During a pilgrimage to Altötting, Germany, on 20 August, 2018, two priests were received into the Dominican Fraternities by fr. Thomas Brogl, OP, Prior Provincial of the Province of St. Albert the Great in Southern Germany and Austria. This marks a pioneering effort in welcoming members of the diocesan clergy in what would be the first priestly fraternity of St. Dominic in the province. As the priests begin their novitiate formation in Vienna, the brethren look forward with joy and hope for fruitful growth in the Dominican vocation.
