Orlando Rueda Acevedo, OP, and the General Promoter of the Priestly Fraternities, fr. Florentino Bolo Jr., OP, who were both coming from the conclusion of the meeting of the General Promoters together with the Council of the Master.

The priests were treated to a guided tour of the Basilica of Santa Sabina and its museum, as well as the various offices operating in the Curia in the service of the friars and of the entire Dominican Family. Of particular interest inside the church was the burial site of Munio of Zamora, the seventh Master of the Order who in 1285 promulgated the Rule of the Brothers and Sisters of Penance of St. Dominic, thus formalizing the third order of the Dominicans. The visit concluded with the priests’ communal praying of the Vespers in the cell of St. Dominic.
